Visual Ice® Signs New Distribution Partner in Latin America, Opening Up Additional Sales Channels in Key Markets for Innovative POP Advertising
Partnership Agreement Follows Announcement of Australian Partnership as Visual Ice Continues to Gain Momentum Internationally
Evek Experimental Marketing Provides Access to the Two Largest Convenience Stores Chains in Mexico and Opportunities for Cooler Door Campaigns
IRVINE, Calif., September 17th, 2012 - Visual Ice, Inc., global developer, patent holder and exclusive distributor of the Visual Ice® in-store POP promotions product, announces it signed a partnership agreement with Evek Experimental Marketing to promote the Visual Ice product to manufacturers and retailers throughout Latin America. Evek provides Visual Ice with access to the two largest convenience store chains in Mexico as well as opportunities in other key markets in Latin America. This market expansion also allows for potential cooler door campaigns for Visual Ice due to ideal climate conditions in the region. This new partnership follows the recently signed agreement in the Australian market demonstrating an increasing number of partners providing Visual Ice products and services globally.
Through its in-store marketing arm, Evek will distribute Visual Ice to the Latin American market by engaging in the conceptualization and development of cross cultural strategies and culturally relevant communication materials such as POP materials and trade marketing inside the store and in other influential areas.
"We love to surprise our clients with new ways to deliver their message directly to their consumers," explained Andres Farias, CEO of Evek Experimental Marketing. "Visual Ice delivers the message, generating the WOW factor every client is looking for." "We are excited about this latest addition to the Visual Ice Global Network by partnering with a leader in the Latin America in-store marketing area," stated Carl Christ, VP of Development and Co-Inventor. "Evek Experimental Marketing understands innovation is the key to capture consumer attention in a world inundated with communication messages. The interactive nature of Visual Ice is captivating, intriguing and is helping manufacturers in both food and non-food brands raise awareness of its products, while providing solid product lift results."
Freezer and cooler doors create a significant challenge for current in-store advertising technology. Because product packaging needs to be viewed by shoppers, traditional methods, such as signage or decal application are understandably undesirable. Visual Ice allows retailers and brands alike to place a message or logo on the door of a freezer or cooler, which is invisible until the door is opened and condensation appears. Then, you can watch as the logo is magically visible for as long as the door is open and remain for up to two minutes once the door closes and the condensation gradually dissipates.
The patented Visual Ice® technology has been used or tested by approximately 300 retailers in the US where preliminary data indicated sales increases of up to 48% for products advertised with the Visual Ice® compared with the period prior.
Working with the manufacturers, Visual Ice creates product awareness and cross-marketing channels for several highly-recognizable products. Through the proprietary invisible Visual Ice coating, the advertiser has the ability to create an unlimited variety of designs to promote its products and brands in the frozen goods section, along with invaluable cross-marketing opportunities. In addition, this medium allows for some of the largest advertisements in-store, extending the reach of those ads the entire length of the aisle.
The nano-technology of Visual Ice enables an interactive "billboard"
to appear on the freezer or cooler door. The "reactive" nature of the
promotion is totally unique and creates a particularly engaging buzz for shoppers.
The applied messages can also be seen from a distance, influencing passing shoppers
as well. Large consumer brands in the US such as Kraft, Healthy Choice, and Hershey's
are flocking to this cutting-edge surface technology which offers a fantastic opportunity
for retailers, frozen food brands and cross-promotion brands to effectively engage
frozen product shoppers.
